I think many are expecting the next version of Windows for servers. It seems that view because they give it only sticks when the PCs sold as many friends I always liked Windows Version servers, for its stability and speed than their classical brethren never reach home.
including Windows NT 3.11 / Windows NT 4.0 / Windows 2000 / Windows 2003 (my pc), and now all hope Windows 2008, better known as "Longhorn." Like any OS for servers has its incompatibility with some hardware, but there are tricks to deal with it and turn it into a powerful workstation.
