Should We Remove Icicle From The Roof
Linux is an operating system, safe, reliable and above all, free. There are different models, brands and versions (called distributions or distros) from very small to run from a USB memory devices and low-income old people, through medium to normal or very robust equipment for large servers. Graphically there is very simple (like windows 95) to very visual (more powerful than Mac). Here an excellent site which describes Linux:
